Editorial policy
We publish tools and explanations we can stand behind. Here is how a page gets made and how we fix mistakes.
How pages are made
- We check what people actually search for and what the existing answers miss.
- We write the formula as code, with tests based on hand-worked examples.
- Every constant gets a source, or the calculator asks you for it.
- We draft the explanation and review it against the calculator and the sources.
We use software tools, including AI writing and coding assistants, to draft and to check our work. A person reviews every page, and the tests and sources are what decide if a number is right.
Independence
No manufacturer or supplier pays for a mention or a result. If that ever changes, the page will say so clearly.
